About SEFFSHOE Footwear

We believe the right footwear can change lives. Our work focuses on effective custom footwear for people with diabetes, arthritis, heel pain, knee pain, back pain, ulcers, corns, calluses, sciatica, and other foot-related conditions.

History

Our story

Research began in 2004. The business was founded in 2005 by Dhananjay Kelkar, with a mission to create custom footwear tailored to each person’s feet.

In 2011, Mihir Kelkar took over the business and rebranded it as SEFFSHOE Footwear (Scientifically Engineered Form Featured Shoe). The focus widened beyond diabetic footwear to all foot and leg-related issues. With a background in engineering and teaching mechatronics, Mihir refined patented footwear designs and manufacturing for precision, comfort, and long-term relief.

Approach

What makes us different

We do not offer generic solutions. Every patient receives a comprehensive assessment that may include:

  • Gait assessment
  • Pressure assessment
  • Leg-length analysis
  • Precise foot measurements

Our commitment continues after delivery — we follow up to monitor progress and adjust when needed. Over the years, SEFFSHOE has helped more than 1,40,000 patients regain mobility and walk with less pain.

Locations

Our clinics

We serve patients through clinics in Goregaon, Dombivali, Pune, and Malvan. Assessments are done in-house. Because precision matters, we work with customers who visit our clinics so we can measure carefully and customise properly.

Purpose

Vision & mission

Our goal is to reduce foot amputations in India and improve overall health and mobility. We aim to take SEFFSHOE Footwear to a national level so quality custom footwear reaches more people who need it.

Innovation

Acupuncture machine

Alongside custom footwear, we have developed an innovative acupuncture machine that safely and non-invasively stimulates nerves while helping identify acupressure points. It supports therapy for pain relief and overall well-being.
